I was born and raised in Iowa and am a farm girl at heart. I have spent the past 20 years living in Australia, Hawaii, and Washington working as a marine mammal biologist.
My passion is spending time in nature with my family. I enjoy creating comfortable spaces and delicious meals for us to enjoy together. I am on a journey to grow not only flowers, fruits, and veggies but spiritually as well.
I believe each one of us has a special and unique light to share and it is my goal to inspire you to see the natural beauty that surrounds us every moment through the posts on this site.

Making floral bouquets for my home, friends, and family makes my heart sing and I look forward to sharing some of my designs with you.

I’ll be planting a cut flower garden with seeds given to me by a dear friend in 2024.
