How to make Two Ingredient Jam: Fruit & Honey

Some of my close friends watch their sugar content closely so when I came across the idea of two ingredient jam made with honey I had to give it a try! The honey gives a unique & delicious flavor profile to the jam and is just as yummy as jam made with sugar. This recipe makes 30 oz. of jam (three and a half cups) and needs to be refrigerated since it does not have any preservatives, it can last in the fridge for 2-3 weeks.

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups of fresh berries, rinsed and clean – I used 3 cups of raspberries and 3 cups of blackberries
  • 1/2 cup honey

Step One: Put the berries and honey in a large stockpot, I used a 5 quart stockpot. Bring to a boil which will take ~ 5 minutes.

Step Two: Let simmer for 10 minutes.

Step Three: Let the mixture cool before putting it in glass mason jars. If you use 6 oz. jars for gifts you’ll have 5 jars to share.

Enjoy!
