How to Make Homemade Cherry Soda

If you are looking for a healthier alternative to store bought soda this is an excellent and easy drink to make. If cherry isn’t your favorite flavor then you can substitute the fruit for whatever you would like – blueberries, strawberries, loganberries, raspberries, blackberries, mango, etc.

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz. can of club soda
  • 2 tablespoons of cherry simple syrup (recipe below)
  • Ice

Step One: Fill your glass with ice and then the club soda. Add in the cherry simple syrup and mix well. You can add more/less of the cherry simple syrup depending if you like it more/less sweet.

Step Two: Enjoy!

Note: If you want to give your homemade cherry simple syrup a really unique twist consider adding 1 tablespoon of lavender or rosemary simple syrup – it is really delicious! Just click here for the simple syrup recipes.

Homemade Cherry Simple Syrup

I was born and raised as a farm girl in the Midwest and have spent the past 20 years living in Australia, Hawaii, and the Pacific Northwest working as a marine mammal biologist. I love spending time with family, gardening, being outside, and I enjoy making delicious meals for my friends and family. My beloved mama, Kelly passed away in late 2020 and this website is dedicated to her - she taught me to be a grateful heart and see the beauty that surrounds me in all that I do.
