How to Make a Lavender London Fog

This lavender London fog recipe is a staple in our household and it is a recipe I have shared with friends over the past several years. With just 6 ingredients you can make this delicious drink in ~ 5 minutes. Makes 1 serving.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Earl Gray tea bag
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup steamed milk – You can use 2% or Whole
  • 1 teaspoon culinary lavender
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • Organic sugar, to taste

Step One: Add the organic sugar to the bottom of your mug (I normally use 1 teaspoon) along with the vanilla. Put in the tea bag as well.

Step Two: Put 1 teaspoon of culinary lavender into a tea infuser basket and place it in your mug. Pour the 1/2 cup of boiling water over the tea infuser basket and let steep for 5 minutes. Note: It is important that the culinary lavender and the tea bag are in the hot water as they steep.

Step Three: While your tea is steeping steam 1/2 cup of milk – I like to do this in either the Nespresso milk frother or the Capresso Froth Pro.

Step Four: Remove the tea infuser basket and the tea bag. Stir. Add your steamed milk and mix.

Enjoy!
