Peach Pie Smoothie*
This is a special recipe in our house and it’s super simple to make. In our house, this will always be known as Grammie Kelly’s peach pie smoothie and it was the last meal I made for my Mom before she passed. It tastes like summer in a glass and is creamy, smooth, and delicious! Taking a sip transports me back in time where I am sitting by her side reading, talking, praying, reminiscing, and giving gratitude for a full life of love and kindness she blessed her family with. We hope you enjoy this smoothie as much as we do! Serves 2. *The credit for this recipe goes to…

Israeli Couscous Salad
My family and I love to make and create new recipes – a new dish to try can make an average weeknight much more fun. My Mom & I were always swapping recipes and sharing tips, tricks, and our favorite kitchen gadgets with one another. Our favorite place to shop together was Crate & Barrel – we spent countless hours in this store together and it will always be our place. This recipe is a staple at our house, it is fresh and easy. It can also be modified to be vegan if you omit the parmesan cheese without losing any of the delicious flavor this dish has to offer.…

Kelly’s Banana Bread
There is something comforting about a loaf of homemade bread and this banana bread recipe is something special! This is my Mom’s recipe and there is a different ingredient you’ll notice, sour cream. It’s a small quantity but it makes a big difference. This recipe makes one large loaf and two mini loaves (a mini loaf is pictured here) and I love to make these as gifts for friends or neighbors. Ingredients: 2 cups of flour 1/2 cup of sugar 1/4 cup of brown sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda 3 ripe bananas 1/4 cup of sour cream 1/4 cup of vegetable oil 2 eggs Optional: Top with walnuts and/or chocolate…

Cherry Balsamic Salad Dressing & Tricolore Pizza
This is my favorite salad dressing and I make it all the time. It’s fast, fresh, and simple. I also use this dressing for a Tricolore salad pizza (how to make the pizza crust is below). I use mixed greens, a diced Roma tomato, and shaved parmesan for the base of my salad and then I add the dressing. Ingredients: 1/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil 3 tablespoons cherry balsamic 2 teaspoons of dijon mustard 1 large garlic clove minced 1 teaspoon lemon juice Fresh ground pepper and dash of salt Hint: Double this recipe if you are serving a large salad for 4+ people. Step #1: Mix all…

Mushroom & Sausage Lasagna
This is a go to recipe in our household – it’s my daughters favorite dish and it’s simple to prepare and bring to a friend or family member if they need an easy meal. I also like to serve this with a large mixed greens salad when friends come over to visit since I can prep everything in advance and pull it hot and fresh out of the oven when they arrive. You can also easily modify this recipe – maybe you’d prefer spinach and beef instead. Feel free to swap in ingredients to substitute the mushroom and sausage as you’d like. Ingredients: No boil lasagna noodles (you’ll need 12…

Drip Latte
I start every morning like most people, with a cup of coffee! But the same cup of drip coffee every morning can get a little bit old so I started thinking about ways to change up my morning cup of coffee without adding a lot of sugar or calories. Enter the drip latte! Ingredients: 4 oz. of your favorite drip coffee 2 oz. of 2% milk – If you prefer to be dairy free I’d encourage you to try this with oat milk, coconut milk beverage, or almond milk. Your preferred method of sweetener – I like to use agave syrup or organic sugar Supplies: Mug for your coffee, spoon,…
